Walkers Holiday's

A few memories of pat from our walkers holiday's . Our dear friend Pat was always pleasure to be with on our walking holiday's, full of fun and mischief. He once encouraged our little Rebecca to let off her whoopi cushion in quiet cafe in keswick, not all customers found it funny, but we all did. On his 60th birthday his wore his base cap ball with the fake hair and his large birthday badge, lots of folk thought it was real and got a surprise when he removed it. Pat liked his food as you know, Prawn cocktail at troutbeck inn, a bucket size of hot chocolate with all the trimmings at the giggling Goose. A large bath bun at the Apple pie shop, also scones with jam and cream where ever he went, any cream left over went in his Coffee, no waste. Pat also loved an Aspal Cider , always asked for one, if they had it he told them he lived down the road from the factory. He was also a bit of a magpie finding lost items, sweat shirt, base cap ball and Aussie hat. As the year's went by Pat was not able to walk the fells, he did however still come as he enjoyed the social side in the evening and the food !!! He did become the coffee and dishwasher man, which we all appreciated. We will all miss patrick 'The Old Bugger'.
